Read all directions before starting.
Step 1 The surface area the lettering will be applied must be free of oil, dirt, waxes or polishes. Even if the boat is brand new, thoroughly clean the surface with mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water.

Step 2 Tape the decal in the general area to which the lettering will be applied.

Step 3 Measure and adjust location of decal using the centerline and basline as references.

Step 4 Tape down the center once the lettering is measured into place.

Step 5 Lift one side of the graphic and separate the application tape from the backing paper. Using scissors, cut away that half of the backing paper. Be careful not to let go of the lettering.

Step 6 Hold the transfer paper away from the working surface, keeping a little slack and squeegee outward from the center. Use plenty of pressure, you do not want bubbles

Step 7 Discard center strips of masking tape and lift remaining side of graphic. Remove the backing paper and squeegee outward from the center.

Step 8 Squeegee the entire lettering again, pressing hard. Try to squeezy at a 45 degree angle.

Step 9 Remove the transfer tape by pulling it back on itself, rather than pulling it 90 to the surface. Take your time with this, you dont want to rush this process.

Step 10 Eliminate any bubbles by pricking the vinyl with a needle or pin and pressing down with a finger or squeegee to expell the air.

Helpful Hints:

Do not get backing paper wet.
Temperature should be at least 65 degrees to apply graphics.
Do NOT use WINDEX on graphics.
Always wait 2 to 3 weeks before waxing.

Please send in your photo of finish product.

Testimonials
I would be pleased to give the highest recommendation for the work you do for us. Your price is competitive, your quality great and you always deliver in a very timely manner.
» Judy Moore, Coldwell Banker

From design to application, your stickers and signs are superior to any others I have looked into. I tell anyone who asks me that Kyle Mahoney at Westward Design does all our sign and sticker work!
» Bill Welch, Welch Bros

He came right to the boat, listened to what I wanted and did what I asked, awesome job. I would recommend him to anyone. He is pleasant to work with and reasonably priced.
